Training Services

At Einstein K9, we understand each client may have different training goals and we tailor each program based on your dog and your training needs!

So we want to meet you and your doggy companion for a free evaluation so that we can make sure that we understand all of your training needs AND to ensure that we are a right fit for you and your dog!

In Home Board & Train Programs

We are very proud to announce that we offer board & train services, where your dogs will be staying with us in our home. This program is recommended for clients who struggle to find time to do their own training on a daily basis or for those dogs that require behaviour modification.

Our board & train dogs will be trained in a variety of environments, such as in the house, outside in fields, on trails, and in public settings (stores, parks & malls). All of our board & train programs include basic manners & distraction training.

After the completion of any of our board & train programs, clients will receive 3 free private sessions so that we can teach clients the necessary handling skills needed to maintain the training and to check in on the training progress at home.

Clients are provided with written and media updates throughout the duration of each program.

  • For puppies under the age of 6 months

    • 2 - 3 week program

    • Sit & down (including stay durations)

    • Heel

    • Place command

    • Loose leash walking

    • Intro to public training & Socialization

    • Intro to nail clipping and desensitization

    *Please note all the commands are taught on leash and there is no recall in this program

  • For clients who want off leash freedom and more control of their dogs and puppies that are over the age of 6 months

    • 3 - 4 week program

    • Ecollar training

    • Sit & down (including stay durations) on & off leash

    • Heeling on & off-leash

    • Place command off-leash

    • Loose leash walking

    • Off-leash recalls

    • Public training & socialization

    • Crate training

    • Nail clipping exercises

    $1950 to $2600 + HST

  • This program is for dogs that display anxious and aggressive behaviours, or for any dogs that have behavioural problems.

    5 - 6 week program

    Everything from the Off-Leash Obedience program is included plus:

    • Dog and/or human reactivity

    • Dog and/or human aggression

    • More public training & socialization

    • Muzzle training

    $3250 to $3900 + HST

Client Boarding Program

We understand that finding the right Boarding Facility for your dog can be difficult. This is why we offer boarding services for our previous Board & Train clients!

Our clients are very happy knowing that their dogs have already stayed with us before and that their training will be maintained during their boarding. Similar to our Board & Train Programs, all the dogs stay with us in our home. No matter if you need boarding for one night or for a few weeks, we are here to help our clients!

Private Sessions

Private sessions are a great option for clients who are committed to being more involved in their dogs training on a daily basis, but need a little bit of help in gaining the appropriate training knowledge!

We encourage interested clients to book their free consultation so that we can discuss their training goals and needs before we book the private sessions! We would love to get to know you and your dog first!

    1.5 - 2 hour long session

    We go over all the necessary information to set you up on the right track such as:

    • Potty training & Crate training

    • Collars & training tools

    • Recommended diets

    • Information about spaying/neutering & responsible dog ownership

    • Understanding basic dog behaviours & communication

    • Dog socialization

    • Puppy desensitization

    • Basic Grooming

    Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a discount voucher that can be used for one of our future training programs

    $150 + HST

  • During these privates sessions, we set you up with the right tools, skills, and training techniques to train your dog on your own.

    Each session will be approximately an hour and we will tailor the training to fit the needs of you and your dog. There is a lot of room for flexibility during these sessions and we offer private session packages.

    In between privates sessions, we will check in with clients over the phone to see how the training process is going at home and to offer our support and help if needed.

    • One Private session $95 + HST

    • Three Private Sessions $250 + HST

    • Five Private Sessions $425 + HST

  • Are you interested in the sport of IGP with your dog? Or are you interested in doing some fun advanced obedience? Are you planning on getting a puppy in hopes of starting IGP?

    If you and your dog have what it takes, we offer private one-on-one sessions.

Day School

This program is meant for clients who would like to drop off their dogs with us for the day and pick them up in the evening after having spent the entire day training and playing.

This program is from Monday – Friday (there is room for flexibility if the regular work week does not work for some clients)

Day school programs include the Puppy Foundations program, the On-Leash program and the Off-Leash program. Unfortunately, the behaviour modification program is not included as an option for the day school program as behaviour modification dogs require more professional attention and structure.

A consultation is mandatory for clients interested in this program as dogs will be accepted based on each individual dog and owner.

At the end of each day school week, we will discuss and go over some “homework” to be done over the weekend, if needed.

After the completion of our day school program, clients will receive 3 private sessions so that we can teach clients the necessary handling skills needed to maintain the training and to check in on the training progress at home.

Day School $500 + HST per week
